Charlotte's Web...

for those of you who don't know, there really is such thing as a writing spider. some may call it creepy but for some odd reason i find it rather cool! E.B. White was not making this one up... mind you this charlotte doesn't write words, or have blue eyes, but she does create a zig zag web. Z's down the middle of her web. one of the many fascinating creatures of Glenridge Hall... she's my favorite, and she's HUGE! (i actually found 4 writing spiders. they're easy to keep a watch on, they never move. Aranea (name from the play) the smaller one makes a tighter web of Z's.)

i caught a photo of charlotte eating a grasshopper. and you'll notice, they're the SAME SIZE!!! beautiful markings... i find it ironic i played charlotte in my elementary school play and i have blue eyes..." swing spinnerettes, let out the thread, the longer it gets the better it's read"... i still remember some of my lines! haha!

and her egg sac is the size of a large gumball... wonder how many babies are in there! now that's just a disgusting thought!

You talk about this so lightly. I am discusted I have serious arachniphobia...(or how ever you spell it.) I said that to Jeff recently...."Jeff, give me a break I have arachniphobia. Everybody is allowed one phobia in life and it's ok." Aleigh was next to me and said "Ah, poor Mom, she has Closterphobia." I said "Ok, so I HAVE 2 PHOBIAS....SO WHAT!!!" Hillarious! Anyway....this spider is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GROSSSSSS!!!!! As big as a grass hoper?...I have one word.......R A I D !!!!!!

Love this post! It was a fun read... you really need a picture of you being Charlotte in the play to go with it... now that would be cool... something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. You forgot to mention that another feature you have in common with Charlotte is that you have BIG eyes...not just blue! Ha! PS have I told you how much I love your blog paper/design? C L A S S Y. love you!

I'm trying to catch up on the comments. :) Okay, AWESOME!! That is so cool! I zoomed in and she's amazing! This was a fun post.

About Trisha's phobia....funny story...we were at mom's and she was trying to catch a TINY spider. You know the ones that look like a speck of dust. I said, "what are you doing?" "I'm trying to get this spider." I reached over and smashed it with my finger. She said, "if I touch it, I might get bit." We both laughed. She would be the one to get bit by a pen dot spider. It was very funny!
